More than 100 people tested Levol-app
Project’s partners gather in Birmingham for review The third meeting of the Levol-App project took place last week, in Birmingham, United Kingdom (UK). In this meeting, the project’s partners reviewed the gathered feedback from the 120 people that participated in the platform’s trial phase. Levol-app was tested by organizations from Portugal, Spain, Italy, Slovakia and the UK. In this project meeting, the partner organisations focused on reviewing and analyzing the feedback that was given by the testers and coaches on the trial phase of the platform. Generally, the feedback was positive, giving, however, space for improvement. Following the analysis and discussion, the final result is planned to be visually more appealing, as well as to have more interactive and stimulating exercises. It will also be produced a guide to give a walk-through of the platform, make it easier to work with it, as well as a certification seal of support for the organisations that take Levol-app’s Volunteer Management programme. Levol-app’s trial phase will officially end only on August 10th. Until then, it will be available for people currently trying it out. The next and last meeting of the project will take place between September 30th and October 3rd, in Cori, Italy. Coordinated by Pista Mágica – Escola de Voluntariado (Portugal) with the support of Neo Sapiens (Spain), Associazione di Promozione Sociale Futuro Digitale (Italy), Platforma dobrovolnickych centier a organizacii (PDCO) (Slovakia) and the Birmingham Voluntary Service Council (BVSC) (United Kingdom), the Levol-app initiative aims to promote teamwork and exchange of good practices regarding the training of those responsible for the creation and coordination of volunteer management programs (at local or international levels). Parceiros do projeto reúnem-se em Birmingham para revisão A terceira reunião do projeto Levol-App ocorreu na semana passada, em Birmingham, Reino Unido. Nesta reunião, os parceiros do projeto analisaram o feedback recolhido de 120 pessoas que participaram na fase de teste da plataforma.

Pista Mágica organiza evento com associações de 5 países O terceiro encontro do projeto Levol-App terá lugar no Porto, entre 18 e 22 de fevereiro, um evento transnacional que irá juntar os representantes das organizações parceiras do projeto, com o objetivo de capacitar todos os seus participantes. A Pista Mágica – Escola de Voluntariado é quem acolhe este projeto, única entidade em Portugal que se dedica a 100% à capacitação na área do voluntariado. Durante esta semana, serão facultadas aos participantes diversas ações de formação com o intuito de os munir de competências de consultoria, nomeadamente dentro da área da gestão do voluntariado. Trata-se de uma fase essencial dentro do projeto, uma vez que estes serão os consultores que farão cumprir o principal objetivo do Levol-App: criar uma plataforma online que possa auxiliar qualquer organização não-governamental na melhoria das competências profissionais dos seus gestores de voluntariado, assim como melhor cativar os voluntários para uma cidadania ativa.O Levol-App surge assim como mais uma forma de colmatar um dos principais desafios e dificuldades para as organizações, segundo o Sumário Executivo do “Estudo de Avaliação de Resultados e Impacto Previsível do Programa Cidadania Ativa”, elaborado em 2016, pelo Instituto de Estudos Sociais e Económicos, que é a organização e gestão interna de voluntários. Coordenada pela Pista Mágica – Escola de Voluntariado (Portugal), com o apoio da Neo Sapiens (Espanha), da Associazione di Promozione Sociale Futuro Digitale (Itália), da Platforma dobrovolnickych centier a organizacii (PDCO) (Eslováquia) e da Birmingham Voluntary Service Council (BVSC) (Reino Unido), a iniciativa pretende promover o trabalho em equipa e a partilha de boas práticas no que toca à capacitação daqueles que são responsáveis pela criação e coordenação de programas de Gestão de Voluntariado (a nível local, nacional ou internacional).
